In 2020, we reimagined the legendary Hellboy IP, transforming its dark, moody aesthetic and asymmetrical lines into a cleaner, more playful design for the Asian market. Over three months, we crafted a 90-page style guide that preserved the character’s essence while making it family-friendly and approachable. This work not only introduced Hellboy to a broader audience but also generated significant product licensing income for Dark Horse Comics.
